Post by: curator on October 22, 2005, 11:14:13 PM >>> When we were test driving the 170Va, we discovered clutch needs an obvious adjustment.   the pedal sinks 1/2 way to the floor and the action engages all the way depressed.   I haven't read the workshop directives, but I see there is a clutch section.   I know its a tough question to address.....but is there an obvious and quick solution to the clutch adjustment?

Also, we found the floor shift falling out of 1st gear.    Is this part of the clutch adjustment, or worse, does this mean that 1st synchro gear is worn?
