it depends on what you want to do with the radio
do you like the music in the car or is it just a aye catcher
i had an original one in my car but found only one music Chanel but it is nice to see that it takes a few minits until it is at temperture and to hear the old sound
if it was my car i choose the replica regards Jan

I have an original one that needs work and have been contemplating that same idea. I did not know that there was a replica for sale now. It looks great. The functionabilty is of course better but it is not the same as having a tube sound with AM reception for the vintage experience I guess...
I was thinking of adding a mini plug to feed in an Ipod or cd player with fm radio in it in the restoration of the original. Who is the maker of this unit? (Still pretty pricey I think)
